can I select a default email account?

Hi MM,

I have a new server with my new website and it has been no end of trouble I have an old Gmail, Yahoo email, plus my 'new server' one and an apple iCloud one.

The first three never seem to work consistently. I can't work out what is sending or receiving.

Can I select the apple iCloud mail account as my default one so that all new emails automatically 'come from' that account? It seems to be the only one that works consistently.

I have set up 'rules' for the other three to send anything that comes into them over to the apple mail one so I hope this will work

Any advice gratefully accepted

    Sorry about the late reply. I've been on vacation (with lousy internet) and I missed the severity of this one (which seems to happen a lot when I'm on vacation :) ).

    There is a default account option in the Composer preferences window, but it doesn't strictly make the account used for all new messages. MailMate still looks at earlier correspondence to determine which account to use.

    But Gmail and Yahoo should also work with MailMate (and probably also the unnamed server). I suggest we debug them one by one?
