Strange message when updating

I never had any issues when updating mailmate but the last couple of months i keep getting the attached message (screenshot) Can you enlighten me?

Yes, it's a missing feature (or bug if you like). MailMate cannot handle if it doesn't have write permissions for the install location of MailMate. This is typically a problem on machines with multiple user accounts (with more than 1 using MailMate).
You can install manually by getting the latest release from the homepage: https://freron.com
