Option to mark thread as watch, and filer on them
Reported by Eelco Chaudron | June 8th, 2018 @ 12:06 PM
I'm used to marking threads that I'm interested in and then when new messages arrive on this thread I can quickly identify them (different color, or through a smart mailbox).
I do not see the feature like a watched thread in MailMate, but I implemented it as follows:
- I mark my messages with the tag WATCH
- Created a smart mailbox to filter in "all messages" messages with the WATCH tag
- Created a smart mailbox to filter in "all messages" messages with thread-id ==
This seems to work, with the exception that not all messages get nicely included in the thread (I assume this is related to ticket 1985).
If this is the solution in MailMate, I can live with it and please close the ticket...

Sounds like you should add the filter (rule) to the Inbox just because it seems more natural (All Messages includes emails in all mailboxes except junk and trash).

Doing all messages because the threads I want watching might not be in my inbox (they are coming in from mailing lists and are pre-filtered on the server).
