Is there an experimental implementation of non-strict mail threading that we can test?

Hi Benny,
via Google I found some posts and discussions regarding MailMates strict threading behaviour and I saw mentioned, that there are thoughts of implementing a less strict threading model, which doesn't consider the »In-Reply-To« header, but maybe does some neat subject comparison magic.
Is there anything experimental going on in current MailMate (1.11.2) that we can already fiddle around with yet?
