Continuous syncing and high load

For a few days - might be since the update to 2341 - Mailmate is syncing two IMAP accounts endlessly. I've had the computer running for almost 24h now and it still is syncing and does not show the lastest mails. Both accounts are from the same provider (1&1/GMX in Germany) that was a cause for bugs in the past.
What can I do to help in debugging this?

- State changed from “new” to “fixcommitted”
There is going to be a new update out tomorrow with a fix for this issue
(and some other issues). So far, this problem has only been reported for GMX accounts, but it may be triggered by other IMAP servers as well.[state:fixcommitted]
