bundle for todoist

Reported by Robert Brenstein | March 29th, 2017 @ 01:12 PM

command -> Todoist -> Add...

I got into using this command a lot. It works nicely. However, I regularly need to edit the text at its beginning. I need to always click and scroll to the beginning since the text is ALWAYS longer than the available single-line input field (due to the link). Can the input field be made bigger and wrap the text, so the entire text is visible at once?

command -> Todoist -> Add with summary...

The three dots imply that there is a dialog coming. However, this command just insert an entry into the Todoist's incoming category. I wonder whether there is a bug or the command has wrong name. As it is, this command should be just "Add" without anything else in the name.

    • State changed from “new” to “closed”

    I'm afraid I'm not in control of the layout of the input (it is shown by Todoist using a so-called URL-scheme).

    The “Add with Summary...” command should show the same input window now. I cannot test if the summary works, because I'm not a Premium user of Todoist, but I've tried to implement it based on user feedback.

    See ticket #2678.

    Yes, I can confirm that “Add with Summary...” works for me now. It creates the task and copies the content of the email into tasks's comment. Maybe renaming this item to "Add task copying email..." would be reasonable. I'd also rename "Add..." to "Add task..." to be more explicit.
