Mailmate crashes when sending email

I just installed Mailmate on my new MacBook. I can receive, archive, and delete messages on my Gmail account be everytime I send, the app crashes.

Attached is a copy of the OS X crashlog.

    This is a known issue triggered by an issue with the account importer in MailMate on El Capitan. Go to “File ▸ Edit IMAP Account ▸ ...” and fix the SMTP settings. I believe that should fix it.

    (The bug is fixed, but not in the current public release.)
