Loading selected external images in HTML mails
Reported by Stefan Doehla | October 21st, 2015 @ 11:24 AM
Hi Benny,
just one for curiosity - you have the very nice feature to block externally referred images - I like that one :) Still, in many cases there are some external links I'd like to load, e.g. the main image of a mail, but not the tracking pixel of the ad service. Let me know whether you see a point in making this a bit more selective, e.g. having a dropdown box of what to load or something alike.
Cheers,
- Stefan
p.s.: The "move to junk" is only displayed for mails with external references - is there any particular reason for this?

That's an interesting idea. I've always wanted to somehow make it easy to review the blocked URLs, but case-by-case loading is an interesting feature as well. I'll mark it as accepted, but it's not really because I think this'll happen soon :-) I just don't want to forget a good idea.

The p.s.: It's just more likely that a message with external references is junk, but the “Move to Junk” action is always available in the Messages menu (and with a shortcut).
