sending from multiple accounts

In the last few days, when I send an email from one of my accounts it shows the correct account in the message box before sending but when i send the email it sends from a different account.

Is this a Gmail account? Then check the login name used for SMTP in your IMAP account settings.
For some unknown reason Google has a “feature” which rewrites your From address if you use the “wrong” login credentials for the SMTP server.

No it is an outlook.com account which I use for work. The incoming and outgoing settings are correct and have worked for months with MailMate.

Ok, we'll debug then :-)
Does it happen every time (reproducible)?
If you look at a message in your Sent Messages folder, do you then see the correct or the wrong From header?

Oh, and just to make sure. Note that MailMate might change the From address dynamically when you enter a recipient in the Composer -- this is based on previously sent messages. (But this happens before you click Send.)
