Messages rendered without line breaks

I see many messages that are rendered without line breaks. I've attached a screenshot and the source of an example message.

- State changed from “new” to “resolved”
This is an issue on Yosemite. Update to the latest beta in the Software Update preferences pane.

I'm seeing this in v1.9.6 (5342) on Sierra 10.12.2, could the Yosemite issue have come back?
