One-click method to add condition of same type
Reported by Thomas Hanke | March 11th, 2011 @ 09:17 AM
Very useful for 'Any' sets.
Say, ctrl-click or shift-click on +
.
I thought someone's mentioned it already but I can't find it.
The example is with first name, same goes for domains, etc.
Scenario
State:
'From X'
Target:
'From X','from Y', 'from Z', …
Best method as of now:
- click
+
on'from X'
- click on
'from'
of new condition - Search for condition type
- This is more or less time-consuming, and
- I need to skim whole menus,
- some of which are nested.
- Lists are annoying, when they get too long,
- especially if a single click would do.
Request
- Modifier-Click
+
- type new text

Correction
- click on 'from' of new condition
Ehm, which is not 'from', but likely 'to'.
Anyway, not the same condition as the previous ones. On purpose, I know.
The default of differing new condition types is very reasonable for 'All' sets, but less so for 'Any' sets, frankly speaking.

- State changed from “new” to “duplicate”
It is on my todo to change it to be the default behavior.
It is ticket #9 which reveals I haven't been fast on that one.
[state:duplicate]
