Menu bar Counter does not appear on second display

I have two displays. The Counter menu used to appear in the menu bar on both of them, and was active (coloured) on whichever is my current display. I've just noticed that the Counter now appears only on the primary display, and remains there regardless of which display happens to have the currently active window.

macOS 10.13.6

Never mind, I'm being an idiot. Second display is narrower and I have too much crap in my menu bar; it just didn't fit.
