It appears this issue is related to column width. Somehow the "Date Received" column, when turned on, was narrower than the minimum width to show both the time ...

I've found that with the renaming issue, quitting/re-opening MailMate often solves the problem.

I'm having this issue as well. MM will jump to a different folder as soon as an unread message is marked as read.
