No alert regarding failed mailbox

I have a Mailbox that shows a "(failed)" status for quite a while now. I only discovered this by accident. Can there be some alert to the user if this happens? (There is another trouble ticket about turning the "Sources" line red, but it is about an account going offline - I didn't know if it was useful to have an independent ticket for "(failed)" mailboxes. Thx.

The mailbox is no longer failed. I traced the issue down to a single message. I don't know what was wrong with it, but purging it (and maybe deleting the file) did the trick.
