Regression on subsequent searches with r5744

#2697

I've set the search filter to search all messages and all works fine when I use it to search for a specific string the first time.

But after discarding the filter detail via the [-] button (next to "Details" and "Save) two different regressions are noticeable

  1. The search field still contains the previous search string although the message list isn't filtered anymore.

  2. If I use the previous search string again, it only makes the message list the first responder but doesn't filter again.

I have to filter using another search string and then revert to the previously used search string to see an effect.

I'm running into this on a daily basis, especially when MailMate isn't searching if I re-use the previous search string.

I'm seeing the same on 5757.
    Easy to reproduce this one.

This should be fixed in the latest test releases, but I've been hesitant releasing it since there have been massive changes to MailMate since r5757 (partly to prepare for a universal release for the M1). You can download it directly here: r5774.

    Sorry about the late response.

    Hej Benny

Thank you very much, I have downloaded the new build and no longer get the issue.
I have not noticed any other issues, with the new builds.

    Best regards
    Lars

@Lars: Well, I recommend updating again. Some SMTP issues (OAuth2 accounts) have been fixed: r5776.
