Repeat searches in mailbox does not work

Hi
I am experiencing a problem with doing repeated searches in a
given mailbox.
It happens when I have made a search and then cancels it and
afterwards want to repeat the same search.
Scenario for reproduction:
- Go to search field (/)
- Type in a search term fx. "f lars"
- Cancel the search by pressing "-" in the mailbox titlebar
- Go back to the search field and try to repeat the same search (nothing happens).
If I change the search field I have no issues, and can then go
back and search the old term, but there seems to be some sort of
caching going on.
I have the issues on both my machines running Mailmate 1.14 (5757),
on macOS 11.2.1
Is that a know problems, is there anything I can do to mitigate
it?

I've also reported this here (back in November).
So far I haven't discovered any workaround: it's always changing the search text, performing the search, changing the search text back to what I've actually intended to search, performing the search.
