MmLocaleDateIdentifier problem: Today + Yesterday doesn't use the user defined local
Reported by Guillaume | October 3rd, 2019 @ 01:30 AM
@Benny thanks for the MmLocaleDateIdentifier
preference. I'm a French Canadian and wanted to use a 24-hour time
format, but since MailMate isn't localized into French it just uses
the default English locale and therefore I could only use the AM/PM
format or I needed to change my computer to be in English and then
change my time format.
Now that we have the MmLocaleDateIdentifier, I can set it to "fr_CA" and I now see the date in French and with a 24h time format, so thanks for that! However, there's a little problem with the Today and Yesterday dates since they still appear with the default English localization as "Today 4:12PM" and "Yesterday 12:11AM". I don't really mind not to have the date translated, but I would like to have at least the date in a 24h format. Is there another preference for that or that would be a bug or this is not possible?
Thanks!

You are correct. The preference was not used for the time part of the date columns. I've made a “blind” (untested) fix for this for the next update. Let me know if it still doesn't work by then :)

Hi @benny, just to confirm that the time is now correct with the 24-hour format using the new beta build (version 5656). Thanks!
