HTML preview not rendering

Reported by Stephen Chong | January 17th, 2019 @ 07:32 PM

For one particular email, the HTML preview does not render. Instead it shows a sequence of hex digits. I'm unable to upload an image in this ticket, but the HTML preview pane displays:

This error happens consistently after restarting MailMate and after restarting the computer. It seems to be for this one particular email (sent from Yahoo from an Samsung Android email client). Other emails do not have this problem.

I'm happy to share the email off-line, to see if it is reproducible.

I assume this is the Composer preview?

MailMate uses some tricks to embed the HTML of replied/forwarded of messages and this could (when something goes wrong) result in what you see. If you have an email for which this happens immediately after replying/forwarding then I can likely reproduce it. Use “Help ▸ Send Feedback” to send it to me (drag the email into the composer to attach it in full).

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, this is in the composer window when replying to the problematic email. I have sent you this email via the "Send Feedback" mechanism.
