Repetitions in To: form autocompletion

Hello,
When typing the beginning of a name or e-mail address already known by Mailmate, corresponding items from what I suppose to be the address book are proposed.
However, I sometimes find several times the same name.
For instance, if I type "Jo", I can be proposed:
John Doe john.doe@perso.com
John Doe john.doe@pro.com
John Doe john.doe@perso.com
John Doe Doe John john.doe@perso.com
john.doe@perso.com (John
Doe)
john.doe@pro.com (John
Doe)
john.doe@perso.com (John
Doe)
It seems to be a bit redundant. Would it be possible to merge some of these identities, or at least to know where this behaviour comes from?
I sent you a screenshot by e-mail since it contains some private email adresses.

It is a known problem I haven't had time to fix yet. At least one of the reasons (I'm not sure it explains all duplicates) is that I search both Sent Messages and the Address Book for matches, but duplicates between these two groups are currently not detected.
