Sending mail from different accounts

I am using Mailmate to read multiple accounts, my work account and a few gmail accounts. But when I send mail from the gmail account (From username@gmail.com), the recipient gets the mail from (username@work.edu). I have set up the gmail account's IMAP and smtp server to be smtp.gmail.com, so I assumed it would send from the gmail account and be registered as such with the recipients. I saw that somebody else had indicated a similar problem.

It's important that you use the correct username for logging in to the SMTP server when sending via Gmail. Verify your SMTP settings for each account via “File ▸ Edit IMAP Account”.
