Migrate MailMate drone settings to different machine
Reported by Mark Scott | September 30th, 2014 @ 03:59 PM
I am new to MailMate and followed the directions to setup drone folders on my Air. I am away on business and need to move the settings to my OS X server across the country. MailMate and SpamSieve are installed on both my MacPro with Mavericks Server and my MacBoocAir.
How do I migrate the Train folders I created on the Air to my server without having to start from scratch on the server to make the server function as the drone?

BTW, the drone works great on my Air, but the server is on static IP and always running and is the better device to manage the OS X and iOS devices. Great program!

Are you talking about the drone description in the SpamSieve documentation?
The IMAP folders should automatically synchronize to other machines. If that hasn't happened then check:
- That they are not offline when you look under SOURCES in the
mailbox outline on the Air.
- That they are subscribed on the server (use “File ▸ Edit IMAP Settings ▸ ...” and look for subscriptions).
The mailbox rules can be copied by copying the following file (while MailMate is not running):
~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Mailboxes.plist
Note: That is going to overwrite any mailbox related settings on the server.
Does that answer your question?
- That they are not offline when you look under SOURCES in the
mailbox outline on the Air.
