Dragging a clipping into a compose window does nothing
Reported by David Morrison | June 21st, 2014 @ 02:07 AM
Mac OS has for many years had the ability to select a bit of text in a document, then drag it to the desktop. This creates a file called a clipping which can then be dragged into text fields in other applications if they support it - most do. It is an extremely useful feature.
I created a clipping by dragging some text from a text field in a web page. When I tried to drag it into the body part of a compose window in MailMate, nothing happened. I had to open the clipping, select all, copy, then go to MailMate and paste it.
