Two observations: open message in new window, search for same sender

They are related in my present use of MailMate:

  1. There's no way to open a message in a new window by clicking on the text, isn't there?
    Perhaps it's possible to delegate this to ⌘-click or ⌥-click? Or even reverse this, so you need to ⌘-click to search for the sender.

  2. Btw, I find no menu command equivalent to the double-click, i.e. no menu entry for 'open messages from same sender'.
    Kind of surprising, if you deem that function so important ;-)

    I updated this ticket via email, but it seems it has been ignored by lighthouseapp. This was my response 5 hours ago:

    1. And you do not want to use ⌘O ?

    2. No, it is mainly because I am considering a different approach to have shortcuts for search operations. The number of available shortcuts is limited and I'm generally bad at remembering them, so I would prefer 1 shortcut and then abbreviations for the type of search. Like the Mailbox Chooser.

    3. One subject per ticket ;-)

    The state of this ticket reflects my intention to implement a solution for item 2.

    1. Hard to type on my mouse. Actually, I should assign one of my 7 mouse keys to that one.
      But don't forget people with 5 or 6 mouse keys!
    2. Oh… yes.
    3. Ok. Next time it's inconsistent interface cruelties ;-)

    • State changed from “accepted” to “fixcommitted”

    1. You can now reverse behavior using ⇧-click. And you can change the default in the preferences.

    2. This is still the plan, but I'll close this ticket for solving the main issue.
