Feature request: "Reply from the same address the message was sent to"

One of the features of the Gmail interface that I've become accustomed to is this:
When replying to a message: (~) Reply from the same
address the message was sent to or 0 Always reply from default
address (Note: You can change the address at the time of your
reply. Learn more)
I have about 15 mail accounts forwarded to Gmail, and I've learned to not have to pay attention to which account received the message originally. It would be nice if MailMate had this as an option as well (it just bit me replying to a Lighthouse email from you).

A 'nice-to-have' suggestion:
An expanded interface might be helpful for people who aren't comfortable with regex for the pattern matching. Something that built the regex for you by providing the typical patterns you mention in your blog post for each address you wish to parse, as well as a place to explicitly list the addresses (as an ordered list) that you wish to appear in the 'from' selector.
I totally missed both the availability of multiple 'from' addresses -- '(es)' was too subtle for me :-) -- and the purpose of the pattern matching.
This is one of the few places in MailMate where the feature absolutely requires the manual to even know what it's for, but is still intrinsic to effective setup for many users.

Yes, it's not as easy as it could/should be. The comma-separated list is actually the same as in Apple Mail (which is also not obvious). I would have preferred if the pattern was a so-called glob-pattern (which is simpler), but I cannot (easily) change that now.
I should at least put in a link to the manual.
