Mailbox views appear empty
Reported by Scott Kelly | November 19th, 2013 @ 06:42 PM
Hi. I've just switched from Mac to PC and have been looking for a decent mail client for OS X Mavericks. I've been using the trial version of Mailmate and so far have been liking it a lot. In fact, I just contributed to your crowdsource campaign.
I'm having a weird issue. Not sure if it's due to me being on the trial version, Mavericks or something else, but sometimes when I delete an item--usually in the unread items smart mailbox--every item in all mailboxes views vanish. No matter which mailbox I click on, the view is empty. Sometimes I can resolve it by quitting, then restarting Mailmate, but that doesn't always fix it. Instead, I have to resort to restarting the computer (mid 2013 MBA). Any insight on this would be great.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks for your support!
It's not a known issue. My guess is that the problem is that you activate a search by double-clicking in the messages outline. This can be seen above the messages outline where you also find a minus button to close the search (or use escape). Does this explain what you see?
You can change the behavior of double click in the Viewer preferences pane.

Hmm. Could be the problem. If and when it happens again, I'll check to see if that is what's going on, then report back. Thanks.
