  You may be experiencing the same issue as described in ticket #453. That ticket also goes through other things, but the main point is that I have not yet tracked down the cause of this and anything you can do to help me would be appreciated.

  You can start by launching MailMate from the Terminal if you know how to:

  /Applications/MailMate.app/Contents/MacOS/MailMate
  

  Then send me any output generated. This can help confirm that it is the same issue.

  This does look like the problem in #453. Did you get any output in the Terminal before it crashed?

  Do you have the time to help me debug this issue? It's probably not going to be easy.

  I've marked the ticket as a duplicate, but we can continue writing in this ticket.

  Sorry, I'm not notified when something has been marked as spam :-(

  The error output indicates that your MailMate support folder is on a network drive which does not support hard linking. MailMate cannot handle that and I think it would be triggered the first time a message is moved from one mailbox to another -- and after that MailMate would crash on restart.

  It would probably not require a lot of work to allow MailMate to not use hard linking, but I'm still going to mark the ticket as bluesky, i.e., a feature which should not be expected any time soon.

  Let me know if you do not think this is the problem.

  Off topic: The output also stated that you have not allowed MailMate to access the Address Book. If it's an error then you can fix it somewhere in System Preferences.
