Sending an email no longer play the sound

Hello,
Since the upgrade to Sonoma 14.8.5, sound when sending emails is no longer working.
System: MailMate/6272/9EFCECA8-616E-5C80-B065-F1D27F306FDE 14.8.5/arm64/MacBookPro18,2/10

After rebooting and removing old crufts sound is back when sending emails (also copied /Applications/MailMate.app/Contents/Resources/Sent.aiff to ~/Library/Sounds/ after reading https://developer.apple.com/documentation/usernotifications/unnotificationsound)
