New issue with MailMate and SpamSieve
Reported by Adrian G | March 29th, 2026 @ 01:48 PM
For years I've been using MailMate as a spam classifier with SpamSieve and rules. Mail comes in, MailMate classifies it and moves it to Junk, and any other mail client on any other machine updates.
This stopped working last week.
My primary MailMate still classifies spam and appears to move it out of the inbox, but every other mail client (including MailMate on my laptop, Spark on my phone, Apple Mail or Spark on my other Mac, and Webmail on the mail server itself) still see all the spam in the inbox.
The mail is definitely not being moved to another folder, as is evident by the mailserver still seeing it in the inbox.
What changed?
(btw your upload quota has been reached, so i can't share a screenshot)
