Markdown image sizing

Reported by Stephen Chong | August 22nd, 2025 @ 02:38 AM

Feature request to support a variant of markdown that allows for the size of images to be specified, or provide some other way of setting the displayed size of an image.

In general, if I want to send an email with an image inline, I open a different mail client, since that is easier than creating a new version of the image file that is scaled appropriately.

Apparently some markdown implementations support variants such as ![Alt Text](image-url =100x200) (or specifying just width ![Alt Text](image-url =100x) or just height ![Alt Text](image-url =x200).

Pandoc has a version of markdown that supports resizing images: https://pandoc.org/demo/example33/8.17-images.html

Failing that, some way of embedding html for an image and being able to adjust the size?

Thanks for considering!
