Continuous syncing

During my trial period, I noticed that often my multiple email accounts had continuous spinners on all the Sources. Often, when I hit reply, it would take more than 30 seconds and sometimes minutes for the reply window to appear.
I turned off indexing and it continued. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it's okay.
I also use Protonmail Bridge. Not sure if that matters but wanted to point it out. I have a mix of Google, Protonmail and Microsoft 365 email addresses.
I wasn't sure I was going to buy a license because of this issue, but I very much like what you do and want to support independent privacy oriented software makers. Hopefully, the issue can be resolved.

This is certainly not expected behavior. First try the latest test release to make sure it's not related to a fixed issue: MailMate r6056
If that does not help then write me via “Help > Send Feedback” and we'll debug privately (given that we might have to review account settings that you would not want to share here).
