Replacing existing file does not work
Reported by Jeroen van der Ham | March 26th, 2024 @ 02:43 PM
- Start with an email with an attachment.
- Right-click on the attachment to save the file.
- File save dialog pops up
- Click on an existing file to take over that name (.)
- Click "Save"
- Click "Replace"
Expected result:
File on disk is replaced with the attached file.
Actual result:
File on disk is not replaced, and a new file is created in
that folder named -1.
If you repeat this, the number is increased, so next time you get
-2.
