13 instances of com.apple.audio.SandboxHelper

MailMate r6015 is spawning at least 13 instances of com.apple.audio.SandboxHelper.
These processes disappear from Activity Monitor when I quit MailMate, but reappear when I relaunch MailMate.
Sound notifications are turned off in MailMate. (Display notifications also are off.)
MacOS 12.7.2
