Problem sending .zip files to Apple mail client

When I send a .zip attachment the receiver get a page of junk text (presumably the encoded .zip text file)?

Is there some setting I need to turn on?

I have not heard about this issue before.

First try the latest test release: https://updates.mailmate-app.com/archives/MailMate_r6062.tbz

If you still have this issue then send me a message with an attachment using “Help > Send Feedback”. Then I'll try viewing it in Apple Mail.
