  Two notes/updates:

  1. What I meant was that the real link isn't showing up at the bottom of the message pane like it had been (so not exactly a tooltip), but...

  2. A note that it DOES seem to be appearing but only sometimes, like it doesn't appear when you hover over something, but if you're hovering and scroll, then it appears (and also takes some doing to then get it to disappear). It's easier to see this in action over a large graphic that's linked, but not as easy to see it on a short phrase of text that's been linked.

  I've quit/restarted MM, and restarted the machine. No change in behavior.

  Still wondering about this -- still only seeing the URL in a tooltip if I'm hovering and then hit the scroll wheel on the mouse. But not when only hovering.

  PS apparently I'm using prerelease 5902.

  • State changed from “new” to “fixcommitted”

  This was indeed a Ventura related issue but recent test releases should fix it. Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane to get the latest test release (currently r5942).

  This problem has been bugging me for a while, and I just found this post just now. Maybe time to get a release out, as the ticket's a year old!

  MailMate is still the best mail client, though.
