Inconsistent "from" names with same address

I have a contact, Aaron Jones, named jones@company.com who emails me a lot. He is in my Contacts app with his exact email saved.
Yet I have some emails from him who show up as being from Aaron Jones and others who show up as being from jones@company.com.
And when I search for "Aaron," the second set don't show up.

The ones from
jones@company.comlook like that because he sent them like that (I assume). MailMate does not try to find a corresponding name from Contacts to remedy that. This is on purpose because a missing name part could be a sign that it was sent by a spammer/impersonator.I guess MailMate could still locate this type of “match” when searching, but that would be tricky (at least tricky to do efficiently).

I do enjoy the way Apple Mail implements this feature. Makes my inbox nice and clean.
