Bug in the Message>Reply when replying to multiple msgs.
Reported by Ben Hyde | January 5th, 2022 @ 07:08 PM
I often select a few messages and then hit return, so I can scroll through reading the entire batch. Today, I selected a few words in one of those messages and hit CMD-R (aka reply) by mistake. Up popped the usual "Reply to All Recipients?" prompt. I hit cancel, and it popped up again. So I hit cancel yet again. It took me a while to guess that it was probably going to do that once for every message in the group of messages I was reading. Lucky me, there were only a dozen in the group. While hitting cancel ten more times, I decided to open this bug. So there, that's done.
Thanks for the great email client. - ben

Thanks for the report. I assume selecting text is irrelevant here? It's “just” about hitting ⌘R on a large selection of emails with multiple recipients?
In that case, it's a request for the answer to the “Reply / Reply All” requester to apply to all emails instead of one-by-one?
That's tricky to change and you would, in any case, have seen a large number of open composer windows.
I guess what would have helped is an “are you sure” requester shown, e.g., when replying to more than X messages (and that's true for other types of actions as well).
