Incorrect quoting depth when replying with selected text
Reported by Mike Conley | February 4th, 2021 @ 02:28 PM
If I am replying to a message that has both quoted and unquoted text and I simply do Reply or Reply All, the level of the quoted text is correctly increased, as expected.
However, if the quoted text is at the top of the message and I select it in order to include it in the reply (say, I want to exclude some of the other text in the message) and then do Reply or Reply All, the level of the selected quoted text is not increased; it remains at the same level as the originally unquoted text.
E.g.: If the original message looks like this:-
> Quoted text
Unquoted Text
and I do Edit > Select All and then do Reply, I get this in the new outgoing message:-
> Quoted text
> Unquoted text
I will upload a screenshot of this which may make the problem more clear.

Hmm, seems like “Select All” (or manual select) is unable to include the blockquote at the beginning of the HTML view. I'm not sure there's an easy fix, but I'll check it out.
