Alias/Group Email problem

We are using an email group as branch@example.com, and i also have personal email as scott@example.com.
All parties in my branch receive emails which sent to branch@example.com.
Also sometimes i need to send emails from branch@example.com too.

I added below line to Email Addresses on IMAP account settings. It is so easy to send emails from branch@example.com but i am receiving all emails twice.

scott@example.com, Branch branch@example.com

I tried to not download emails from branch@example.com, but couldn't find any solution. Could you please help me to solve this problem.
