can't set up new mail account

HI BennyI
I've just created a new email account and can't get it to work
through mailmate. It's a gmail account. I've tried
with and without an Auth 02 authorisation but no luck so far. . I
don't have the upload link (it says Upload quota reached) so can't
attach a screenshot of error messagae but the text is 'Unexpected
return code 535 (expected 235):
“5.7.8 Username and Password not accepted'

hi Benny
I set up a new mailbox today which is working - still don't know why the other one isn't. But I can't delete the non-functioning mailbox. Delete is greyed out and there's no "source' to be found which is what I think you told someone else to look
for. Can you advise please. Thanks Lorraine
