version 5662 does not allow to exit signature dialog

My wife just got the beta to get the printing back (under El Capitan). That works fine. But she needed to modify one of her signatures. She switched to the signature preference panel and opened the signature-editing drawer. Clicking either OK or cancel does nothing - the button blinks but we the dialog remains. We were just stuck there and I had to force-quit MM. This worked fine in the previous version.

I just checked this on my computer which runs MM 5657 and it exhibits the same problem. Force-quit seems the only option out.
A tidbit aside: it seems that 5657 is more stable than 5662. I get a crash every other day or less (5657) whereas my wife crashes several times a day (5662). Last public was not crashing at all. Just saying.
