retiredAddressPattern case sensitive ?
Reported by James Eagan | September 28th, 2019 @ 03:41 PM
It seems that the retiredAddressPattern is unexpectedly case-sensitive. I have mine set to:
retiredAddressPattern = "(firstname\\.)?lastname@my-employers-old-name\\.fr";
That seems to work most of the time, unless someone has sent a message to Firstname.Lastname@... or ...@OLD-NAME.FR or some other nonsense like that. In those cases, MailMate does not detect it as retired.
The documentation says this behaves just like the internal Address Pattern config, but that one seems to be case insensitive:
internalAddressPattern = ".*@(old-domain-name(-suffix)?)|(oldername)|(parentname)\\.fr";
Messages replied to, say, @OLDERNAME.FR or @oldername.fr are correctly detected as internal.
