cid-text appearing when attaching files

When I attach a file to a text-email I'd just like it to be attached, not inlined or anything like that.
Usually I just drag'n drop files somewhere on the compose-window and crap is inserted.
As far as I can see, there is no option to turn this off, is that correct?

You can disable the use of Markdown. There is also a hidden preference to disable
cid:URLs:defaults write com.freron.MailMate MmCreateCIDURLForImageAttachments -bool NOI hope that helps.
