Mailbox Retrieval Failed Error: “”

I cannot log in outlook email that I am using for school.

My setting
imap-mail.outlook.com port 993

smtp-mail.outlook.com 587

After I clicked "Edit Subscriptions..."

It shows "Mailbox Retrieval Failed Error: “"" this popup message.
I just downloaded the app, and want to try out, but I couldn't even connect email account.

    Just to make sure this isn't a fixed issue, try the latest test release: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.

    (Your settings look fine.)

    Hi Benny,

    Still same error with the newer test version

    The version is r5522.

    Is this because I am use .edu email?
    Gmail account is working well.

    I don't think .edu plays any role, but we'll try to debug and see what we find.

    Does it work if you add the account without using “Edit Subscriptions...”?

    Do you get the same error? If yes, then try the following:

    • Open the Activity Viewer (⌥⌘0). This enables logging.
    • Relaunch MailMate.
    • Wait for the outlook account to fail (you might need to try to explicitly take it online).
    • Use “Help ▸ Send Server Logs”.
