Finding All Mail (Gmail)

I'm sure that I'm missing something obvious, but mailmate is not finding messages that are easily found in a gmail web search by subject title. In the gmail web interface that message appears in "All Mail" as opposed to archive. In mailmate I see 2 sent messages from that original, but not the original itself. Is there a setting I'm missing in terms of threading?

It might be because you do not subscribe to the “All Mail” folder (see “Edit Subscriptions” in the IMAP account editor). This might be needed depending on how you use Gmail. Also consider reading the Gmail section in the manual to understand how MailMate handles the peculiarities of Gmail “IMAP”.
Let me know if this does not help.
