space key for next message - skip indented sections
Reported by Stefan Doehla | May 22nd, 2018 @ 06:34 AM
Hi Benny,
navigating in MailMate is always fun, and I especially use the space key to quickly go through messages. There's one caveat still: in long mail threads, where people e.g. use 'reply at the top' there's a lot of clutter afterwards, which I've already seen - and I would have to go through it as well with space or switch to cmd-down - but using space only for just seeing the additions per mail would be super cool to clean-up a mailbox.
Maybe for such faster acknowledging the incoming mails and rushing through, space could (optionally?) ignore all the indented parts and earlier switch to the next message?
Just wondering whether such 'smartness' would be something you could consider.
Cheers,
-Stefan

Although very interesting, this is likely to be non-trivial to implement. I suggest you look into the
MmShowQuotedTextLimit
hidden preference documented here.
