App Translocation
Reported by matthias | December 19th, 2017 @ 07:59 AM
I'm getting an error from LittleSnitch that the app is running
in App Translocation and is not correctly installed.
LittleSnitch seams to believe that the app is not running from the
application folder, although it does.
Any idea?
Thanks

You need to trigger app translocation to be turned off. I believe you can do this by simply moving MailMate out of the application folder and then back again. I'm not sure how it got into this state when it is located in the
/Applications/
folder... -

Probably because I first had it in a folder /Applications/Internet/Mailer/
as I like to keep things organized and it seams Apple doesn't like an organized app folder …
Anyway that didn't work :(
Maybe you can send me a newer built and then I just delete the app and immediatly copy it from the image to the app folder.
cheers

You can download MailMate using this link: https://download.mailmate-app.com

Note that you must use the Finder to move the app (I forgot to mention that)
Alternatively, I believe you can manually remove the quarantine flag like this:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/MailMate.app

I use Pathfinder LOL and it has a built in terminal and that worked.
Please close the ticket.
Thanks
