Command-click when Mailmate is not active window does not work

I don't know if this is a feature, also I tried searching for opened ticket but didn't find any. MacOS enables you to make mouse clicks in windows that are not active when you hold down Command key. I noticed that this is not possible with Mailmate, at least not with my version (Version 1.9.7 (5419)).
Is this a known issue, or even an issue? Thanks,

You mean when clicking in the toolbar? At least I seem to be able to select messages and mailboxes.
(It's not something I've given much thought, but it might be a problem that some actions in MailMate have different behavior when holding down ⌘.)

I found and fixed a bug related to the toolbar action buttons in non-focused windows.
