Message too large.
Reported by Kristoffer Rom | July 17th, 2017 @ 01:25 PM
On a Google Apps email-account I get this error approximately every 30mins:
"MailMate encountered the following error: “Server response: “I11 BAD [TOOBIG] Message too large. https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6584#limit”.”. Mailbox: “[Gmail]/Trash”."
Who do I resolve?

Select the “[Gmail]/Trash” mailbox in MailMate and then locate the message which is “too big”. You can use the Size column in the message list to help. Then delete it.
I hope this helps.

It would really help if the message indicated which message was too large. Google says the limit for sending messages is 25MB. But I don't know if that's encoded or not. So far I've deleted everything in the folder bigger than 25, but something is still too big.

@Kee: Sending is not the same as uploading (APPEND) so I'm not sure it's the same limit. It's not even the same protocol... I'll note your request for making it easier to find the message(s).

MailMate now detects the APPENDLIMIT capability used by some IMAP server to let the email client know the limit. If detected MailMate currently offers to delete the message or move it to the desktop (out of MailMate).
MailMate also detects the TOOBIG response code used by Gmail (and possibly others), but in the case of Gmail it doesn't matter since APPENDLIMIT should catch the problem first.
