Search always jumps to the "Deleted Messages" mailbox

Hi,
Whenever I do a search from the search box in the top right, the focus jumps to the "Deleted Messages" mailbox when I press Enter. I can click back onto the mailbox I was intending to search, but the jump is annoying.
Though clearly not that annoying, as this has been happening for years, through several versions.
I'm currently on what I believe is the latest version, 1.9.6 (5347).

Check the popup menu in the search field and look for “Default Mailbox”. Let me know if that does not help.
