Option how to move focus after delete

what i do
- i sort mails as newest first
- i select a message in message list
- i hit delete
- some mails i skiped and are seen
what i see
- the cursor moves up
what i expected
- an option:
when delete message then:
[x] move focus down
[_] move focus up
NOTE
- if i change the order (oldest first) then the focus moves also in the opposite direction. so i can not have an workaround just to change the order in the messages list :(

There's a hidden preference which might help you get the behavior your are looking for. Take a look here. Let me know if that does not help.

yes this hidden preference is the solution :)
PS:
because this i a very personal taste how the cursor moves it would be nice to have this in settings dialog -
